Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. (Caveat: I bought this order through the app Too Good To Go. Variety in the order isn't guaranteed (which I understand). Staff was adamant that I couldn't pick up the order until 1:45, no exceptions. I got there early just to browse. Told them I had called earlier about ordering through the app and was reminded that I couldn't pick them up until 1:45. {I arrived around 1:30.} One customer was in the shop when I arrived. I didn't feel very welcome. Seemed like you weren't as important if you had used an app to order discounted donuts. I asked if I could sit down while I waited. I didn't want to be told that wasn't allowed.) On to the review...Total for the order was $7.55. Was hoping for more variety so I could decide if I'd ever visit again. Not a fan of chocolate iced donuts; really chocolate donuts in particular. I tried a bit of one, didn't like it so threw the rest away. As for the glazed, they were very good! Light and airy. The glaze was light (not that I mind a heavy, cakey glaze) and really complemented the donut. The cinnamon twist was just a cinnamon twist. Not a fan of cinnamon twists either. They're just dry with sugar. I'd recommend this place if you want a light, air

I’ve tried quite a few donut spots, including Revolution Donuts and the Salty donut shop and based on my experience, Sarah Donuts doesn’t quite compare. The texture of the donuts at Sarah Donuts is very airy—almost too light. When you bite into them, it feels like there’s barely anything there, similar to a croissant. While that might appeal to some people, I personally prefer a bit more substance. In comparison, I find the donuts at Revolution Donuts much more satisfying in both texture and flavor. Flavor-wise, many of Sarah Donuts’ options lean heavily toward a sour-sweet profile. That might work for more adventurous taste buds, but for me—and especially for kids—it can be a bit overwhelming. I tried the strawberry glaze, which was good (not amazing, but enjoyable). However, the mango donut was difficult to finish because the flavor was extremely sour and overly sweet at the same time. On a positive note, they do have a rewards system where you can earn points using your phone number, which is a nice perk. I also appreciated the small gesture of receiving a couple of extra classic donuts—those were simple and actually pretty good. Still, even those didn’t stand out compared to

So I was craving a blueberry cake donut on Saturday. It was after 3pm, so most fresh bakeries/donut shops nearby were closed. Not @SarahDonuts!! Greeted pleasantly upon entry. And not only did they have my exact craved item, it was so delectable. Moist and fresh. I will be returning!! Also got mint chocolate cake, red velvet cake, and chocolate cake donuts. Mint was delicious. Thank you for the glazed for my 1st visit! Hit the spot on my way to the car 😁. Donuts still good/soft/moist the next day.

When I get a craving for donuts, I drive out of my way to Sarah. Their donuts are always fresh, the store is pristine, they have a great selection, and the staff is friendly and efficient. I’ve gotten more than one person hooked on Sarah’s sour cream (plain, please) donuts, as well as the cinnamon sugar cake donuts.

Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had. Perfectly soft and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Not overly sweet, incredibly fresh, and you can tell they’re made with care. The glaze melts in your mouth, and every bite tastes better than the last. If you’re a donut lover, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back. 🍩
